Park Plaza Kitchen

Park Plaza kitchen was brought to Builder Boy because it needed to be brought to modern times, be accessible for all and also have a cleaner, sleeker look.

Cabinetry

It was important to modernize everything about this kitchen not only to make it accessible for everyone but to reflect modern times and also reflect the company’s evolving style.

  1. The cabinet built doors are flat style.  Flat-front doors, also called slab doors, are solid with no panels or other framing. It’s a simple, minimalist look that works well in any modern or contemporary kitchen.
  2. Sleek accessories complement this kitchen for the modern look.  Their look helps define the clean lines of this kitchen.

Countertops

The countertop is made of quartz.  But what is actually Quartz?

Quartz countertops are man-made engineered stone countertops formed by combining 90% ground quartz (a natural hard mineral) with 8-10% resins, polymers, and pigments. This forms a very hard granite-like surface. The appearance depends on how the quartz is ground: coarsely ground quartz produces a flecked appearance, while finely ground quartz produces a smooth look.

This material helps define the aesthetic of the space while also giving it a pop because of the dark color of the cabinets and at the same time giving it an elevated look.

Island

The waterfall edge style countertop in the island gives the space an elegant look.  But may be asking what is a waterfall edge style countertop?

A waterfall edge is a design that makes a 90 degree angle at the end of the countertop. Rather than simply ending with a finished edge, the countertop turns toward the floor and continues down the side of the cabinet, island, or seating area.

Waterfall countertop edges, also known as a riser or infinity edge, are a refreshing break from the standard horizontal countertops that simply run from one end of the cabinetry to another.
