Getting a free estimate from Builder Boy is as easy as calling the office, our number is (562) 218-3295 or asking through the website via the contact page at builderboy.com.

After we set up the appointment for one of our estimators to go see and talk to you about what kind of job you want done at your house you will receive an estimate via email.  Estimates usually take a day or two to get done and in special cases up to 3 days.

What is included in the estimate?

In the estimate you will have included the scope of the work to be done, labor, and which materials are included in the total price. Because everything is done in-house we don’t itemize our estimates.

What comes after signing the estimate provided by Builder Boy?

First of all, thank you for giving us the opportunity to work in your project, we appreciate it.  We know renovations can be stressful and frustrating but if you have the right contractor for the job that process should be smooth and done in a timely manner.

Here at Builder Boy it’s imperative that our clients know the steps from the first appointment until the completion of the project.  By having these steps clarified we hope each of our clients understands what it takes for a project to be completed.

The contract comes in about a week after the estimate is signed with a start date.  The start date is determined by the project manager and office manager on our weekly meetings.

In the contract you will find, as mention before, an approximately start date of your project, a payment breakdown and also the details of what is needed from you like parking or bathrooms for our workers to get the job done.

Once the project has commence the homeowners will have access to the program Basecamp, which is where all the information of the project is kept, including a schedule of the work to be done at the project, delivery schedules or notes.  Through this app the homeowners are able to communicate with the project manager about any questions they would have concerning the project.
